Game of the Night: No. 8 Kansas at Kansas State, 9:00 p.m.

Kansas State has been a massive disappointment all season long, having played themselves into a position where they’ll have to earn the Big 12’s automatic bid if they want to get to the NCAA tournament this March. But Kansas is their biggest rival, and while their season won’t be saved at this point, an upset win over the Jayhawks -- one that would drop them into a first place tie with Iowa State in the Big 12 standings -- would help save some face. The Wildcats can beat good teams. Ask Oklahoma, they were swept by Bruce Weber’s club.

Three Things to Watch For

1. No. 12 Louisville at Georgia Tech, 7:00 p.m.: The Cardinals will be playing their first game in the post-Chris Jones era. Louisville has lost three of their last five games and needed to be bailed out by Jones in order to knock off the Hurricanes on Saturday.

2. Xavier at St. John’s, 8:00 p.m.: This is a massive game on the bubble, as both St. John’s and Xavier are barely sitting on the right side of the cut-line.

3. Alabama State at Southern, 9:00 p.m.: First place in the MEAC is on the line tonight.
