After more than a year in production, Keenan Wetzel’s film ‘The Cager’ made it’s debut last night in East Lansing.
Wetzel is former walk-on and now a scholarship player for Michigan State. The short-film, which was shown at a theater in Lansing on Monday night, is about a college basketball star finding his way in life after being injured in his final collegiate game.
It stars Delvon Roe, a former top five recruit that spent three years in the Michigan State program before retiring due to recurring issues with his knees.
The premiere was a success, it seems:
