While a large number of players in the Class of 2015 have made their decisions in regards to where they’ll attend college, at the top of the rankings there are a host of five-star prospects who have yet to do so. One of those players is 6-foot-8 forward Brandon Ingram, who was one of the best performers at the McDonald’s All-America Game and has a varied skill set that would make him a valuable asset for whichever team he decides to play for.

Sunday evening it was reported by multiple outlets that the North Carolina native has set a date as to when he’ll announce his college choice: April 27. Ingram cut his list of schools down to six last August, with North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA and NC State making the cut.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Ingram has in-home visits with three schools set for this week.

Ingram has been busy with in-home visits the past few days. He met with Duke and Kentucky on Friday, before Kansas came in on Saturday. Ingram is also scheduled to meet with N.C. State on Monday, Duke again on Tuesday and then North Carolina on Wednesday.

Obviously Ingram would provide a significant boost to whichever program he decides to play for, but in the case of Final Four participants Duke and Kentucky both schools are looking to account the loss of multiple players to the NBA Draft. While Kentucky had seven players forego their remaining eligibility to turn pro, Duke lost three (and senior Quinn Cook, too) on the heels of its national championship.

Ingram’s recruitment is one of the major dominoes yet to fall in the Class of 2015, and where he goes will not only impact that school but the other five as well.
