Oregon landed an important commitment on Friday as top-100 Class of 2016 prospect Keith Smith pledged to the Ducks.
A former San Diego State commit, Smith decommitted from the Aztecs this month after re-thinking his February commitment.
Regarded as the No. 67 overall prospect in the 2016 class, according to Rivals, the 6-foot-7 Smith comes from powerhouse program Rainer Beach in Seattle.
Smith took an official visit to Oregon’s campus last weekend after decommitting from San Diego State. When he committed to San Diego State in February, Oregon was Smith’s other finalist.
A very skilled wing who can create or shoot in spot-up scenarios, Smith is the first commitment for the Ducks in the 2016 class.
