Throwback Thursday: When Adam Morrison, Gus Johnson and game-winners collide (VIDEO)

The moment that everyone remembers regarding Adam Morrison and Gus Johnson crossing paths came back in March of 2006, when Morrison’s Gonzaga team lived through “Heartbreak City” in a loss to UCLA in the Sweet 16. Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo Sports wrote a terrific oral history of UCLA’s 17-point comeback earlier this year. The sight of Morrison sobbing on the floor is one of the most memorable images from the sport in the last decade.

But for me, that’s not Johnson’s best call in a game involving Morrison.

This is, and as an added bonus, it also happens to feature the one and only Bill Raftery:
