Class of 2017 guard Ishmael El-Amin is beginning to make a name for himself after some good performances this spring in the Under Armour Association. The 6-foot-3 El-Amin was Net Gain’s leading scorer in UAA play at 12.1 points per game and the Minnesota native is breaking out from under the shadow of his famous father, former UConn guard Khalid El-Amin.
While the older El-Amin helped the Huskies to the national championship in 1999, the younger El-Amin doesn’t seem to have his father’s frame, as he’s already taller and has a lankier build.
Feel old now? I definitely do. The younger El-Amin’s mixtape comes courtesy of Courtside Films.
