USA U19 team beats Egypt, advances to knockout play undefeated

The United States improved to 3-0 in the FIBA U19 World Championships in Greece on Tuesday with a 92-50 win over Egypt.

The Americans were led by Harry Giles, a rising senior in high school and one of the top prospects in the Class of 2016. He finished with 13 points, 12 boards, four assists and a pair of blocks. Jayson Tatum, another member of the Class of 2016, added 13 points and five assists, while incoming Villanova freshman Jalen Brunson added nine points and six assists. He now has 17 assists to just two turnovers in the tournament.

The win ensures that the USA has won their group. Knockout play in the Round of 16 will kick off on Wednesday.
