Florida State had landed a commitment from one of the nation’s most improved prospects, as Jonathan Isaac announced that he will spend his college career as a Seminole.

“So much help and guidance to get to this point,” Isaac posted on twitter. “But in making my own decision I’ve closed my recruitment and commit to FSU!”

Isaac, the No. 13 prospect in the Class of 2016, is one of the most improved players in the country. He’s grown three inches since last summer and, at 6-foot-9, is skilled enough to be able to play on the perimeter. He needs to add quite a bit of strength to his frame, but his athleticism, length and ability gives him the kind of potential that makes scouts salivate.

Isaac is a Florida native that plays for IMG Academy and Each 1 Teach 1, the same AAU program that produced Ben Simmons, the No. 2 player in the Class of 2015.

Isaac is the third member of FSU’s 2016 recruiting class, which also includes point guard C.J. Walker and guard Trent Forrest. This class comes on the heels of Leonard Hamilton landing a loaded class in 2015 that includes Dwayne Bacon and Malik Beasley. FSU also returns sophomore Xavier Rathan-Mayes for the 2015-16 season.
