Philadelphia native and point guard Tony Carr had a big spring playing for Team Final in the Nike EYBL and the four-star Class of 2016 lead guard is focused on five schools.

According to a report from Josh Verlin of City of Basketball Love, Carr is looking at Maryland, Penn State, Providence, Temple and SMU. Currently regarded as the No. 53 overall player in Rivals.com’s 2016 national rankings, Carr is a tremendous talent at 6-foot-5 and would be a nice grab for any of these programs going after him.

As Verlin notes in the story, keep an eye on the parallels between the recruitment of Carr and grassroots teammate and forward Lamar Stevens. Four of the schools on Carr’s list have offered Stevens and the two have talked about potentially playing together in college.
