Randy Edsall does what many college coaches do: he tweets out random inspirational quotes in the hopes that it will deliver a lesson to his players. It’s far from uncommon.
But Edsall made a major mistake over the weekend, as he tweeted out a quote attributed to Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Edsall is Maryland’s head football coach:
“If you have talent with teamwork, you’ve got a chance to be a championship team."-Mike Krzyzewski

Dude ...
@RandyEdsall This should end well.

My thoughts exactly. For the most part, the replies were funnier than they were disrespectful:
@RandyEdsall we all hate Coach K please don’t use him as example ever again as he represents evil to the Maryland faithful.

@RandyEdsall Really...Really....millions of quotes and leaders and you pick MIke K..as a Terps fan for 30 years, think harder next time..

I hope Edsall learned his lesson: don’t quote Coach K in Maryland.
