Ibi Watson, a 6-foot-4 guard from Pickerington Central High (Ohio), announced he had committed to Michigan on Tuesday afternoon.

“I’m extremely blessed and excited to announce that I’m officially committing to the University of Michigan,” he tweeted.

Watson joins four-star center Jon Teske and Austin Davis. This commitment fills the spot left behind by five-star wing Tyus Battle. The top-25 recruit committed and decomitted from Michigan in a five-week span before opting to go to Syracuse on July 13.

Not rated by Rivals and listed as a three-star prospect by ESPN and Scout, Michigan head coach John Beilein will look to mold Watson into another all-Big Ten caliber wing like he has with another Pickerington native, Caris LeVert.
