As one of the top front court players in the Class of 2016, four-star power forward De’Ron Davis has been the focus of attention from college coaches for quite some time. Just days after playing at the adidas Uprising Summer Championships in Las Vegas, Davis revealed his top three schools on Twitter Wednesday.

Those schools are Arizona, Indiana and Texas.

All three made efforts to see Davis in person in Las Vegas during the final evaluation period of the summer, with the head coaches of each (Sean Miller, Tom Crean and Shaka Smart) getting a look for themselves in addition to their assistants. Of the three Indiana was the first to offer Davis, doing so way back in the summer of 2012 before he’d yet to play a game in high school.

Arizona offered Davis last year, with Texas doing so this past spring. Among the programs that weren’t listed by Davis are Colorado (Davis is from Aurora) and UCLA, with the Bruins offering Davis in late May.

Each of the three teams listed by Davis have some personnel issues to account for in 2016 when it comes to their respective front court rotations.

Arizona will lose Kaleb Tarczewski, Ryan Anderson and Mark Tollefsen, meaning that they’ll need bodies to join current underclassmen Dusan Ristic and Chance Comanche. Indiana, which dealt with a lack of interior depth last season, won’t have that issue in 2015-16 but they lose graduate student Max Bielfeldt at the end of the season. As for Texas, the Longhorns will lose three players from its front court rotation at the end of the upcoming season in seniors Prince Ibeh, Connor Lammert and Cameron Ridley.
