Throwback Thursday: Donnie Tyndall’s only NCAA tournament win (VIDEO)

Donnie Tyndall has found himself in the headlines a lot more than he would like the be over the course of the last couple of weeks.

That’s what happens when the NCAA drops a Notice of Allegations at your former school that, essentially, says you were cheating your butt off. It’s the second time that Tyndall has fun afoul of the NCAA, as Tyndall also was hit with NCAA violations from his time at Morehead State.

And while Tyndall has won quite a few games during his time as a head coach -- he went 56-17 in two seasons at Southern Miss and had three straight seasons of 20-plus wins at Morehead -- he’s only one won NCAA tournament game during his tenure.
