Duke is receiving a big official visit to campus in late August as a source confirmed to NBCSports.com that five-star point guard Frank Jackson will go to Durham. The native of Utah, who previously officially visited Stanford and cancelled a planned unofficial visit to Arizona, is supposed to visit Duke on Aug. 29. The news of Jackson’s visit was first reported by Evan Daniels of Scout.com.

Putting together a big recruiting class could be in the cards for the Blue Devils, as they already have a Class of 2016 commitment from five-star wing Jayson Tatum and they’re one of the favorites now for the 6-foot-3 Jackson. During the July live evaluation period, Duke was often three deep watching Jackson’s games with the Utah Prospects and they’ve made him a priority recruit this summer.

Regarded as the No. 10 overall prospect in the latest Rivals150, Jackson can score with the ball in his hands or make plays for others. If Duke were to land Jackson to go with Tatum, it’s a dynamic one-two punch on the wing as the Blue Devils would then target big men like Harry Giles and Marques Bolden.
