The accuser in the Oregon rape case has voluntarily decided to dismiss her accusations against head coach Dana Altman.

“Our client has agreed to dismiss her claims against Dana Altman and she looks forward to concluding the rest of her matter shortly,” John Clune, the woman’s lawyer, said in a statement given to NBCSports.com. “We will make no other statements at this time.”

“I appreciate the support I have received from the University and its fans,” Altman said in a statement released by the university. “I look forward to the upcoming season.”

The lawsuit claimed that Altman, as well as other Oregon personnel, knew of the prior accusations of sexual assault against Providence transfer Brandon Austin. Austin, Dominic Artis and Damyean Dotson were all dismissed from the school in the spring of 2014 stemming from the alleged incident, which occurred in March of that year.

The accuser still has litigation pending against the university.
