Xavier landed a playmaking guard on Sunday as four-star guard Quentin Goodin pledged to the Big East program, a source confirmed to NBCSports.com.
The 6-foot-3 guard is regarded as the No. 71 overall prospect in the Rivals150 in the Class of 2016 and hails from Kentucky. Running with Indiana Elite this spring and summer, Goodin showed an ability to get to the rim and score around the bucket. He’s also versatile enough to run some point guard in a pinch.
Goodin averaged 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game during the last week of July. He joins three-star forward Tyrique Jones in Xavier’s Class of 2016 recruiting class.
