The on-again, off-again relationship between Skylar Mays and LSU is back on again, it seems.

The three-star point guard announced on Instagram on Monday night that he has recommitted to the Tigers and head coach Johnny Jones.

“Excited to announce that I have made a commitment to play ball for Coach Jones’ staff at LSU,” he wrote. “Geaux Tigers.”

Mays, a local kid in the class of 2016 that will play his senior season at Findlay Prep in Nevada, originally committed to LSU back in February of 2014. But He reopened his recruitment a few months later.

Mays is the No. 122 player in the class, according to Rivals. He joins three-star wing Wayde Sims in LSU’s 2016 class.
