Five-star Class of 2016 Marques Bolden is one of the best big men in the country and the native of Texas cut his list to seven on Monday morning.

The No. 14 overall player in the class, according to Rivals, is down to Alabama, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, TCU and Wake Forest and Bolden is coming off of a recent weekend trip to Tuscaloosa for an unofficial visit. Bolden has also recently taken an unofficial visit to Wake Forest and he’s scheduled to take his first official visit to see Kentucky this week.

During the spring and summer with Pro Skills in the Nike EYBL, Bolden averaged 13.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game in 19 contests. The 6-foot-10 also shot 56 percent from the field. A good long-term prospect with good hands and feet, Bolden is a very good scorer on the block and he’s also shown an ability to protect the rim.

Bolden will be a major target for all of these programs and it should be an interesting recruitment until the end.
