Four-star Class of 2016 guard sets five official visits

Mississippi native and four-star guard Tyson Carter had a very good month of July as he became a top 100 player with his solid play with MBA Hoops.

A point guard with good size at 6-foot-4, Carter will see Mississippi State on Sept. 11, Memphis on Sept. 18, Arizona State on Sept. 25, Miami on Oct. 2 and Ohio State on Oct. 9, according to a tweet from his high school.

Carter was recently rated as the No. 64 player in the Rivals150 for the 2016 national class thanks to his strong July. The guard can get in the paint and also improved his perimeter jumper as the spring and summer went along. During the end of July, Carter averaged 22.8 points, 3.6 assists and 3 rebounds per game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 44 percent from 3-point range.
