Missouri is parting ways with 6-foot-7 wing Cameron Biedscheid, according to a release from the school.
A former member of Notre Dame’s team his freshman year, Biedscheid transferred to the Tigers in January and would have been eligible after the first semester.
“Cameron will no longer be a member of our basketball program as he attends to personal matters,” Missouri head coach Kim Anderson said in a prepared statement. “We wish him and his family all the best and hope everyone will respect their privacy during this period of time.”
Losing Biedscheid means that Missouri has lost three players since Anderson took the job. Shane Rector transferred out of the program in May and Torren Jones was dismissed from the team in August.
Two freshmen, forwards D’Angelo Allen and Jakeenan Gant, were suspended from team activities after being arrested Sept. 14 on suspicion of assault.
Biedscheid struggled to find his shot during his freshman season at Notre Dame, as he shot 30.3 percent from the three-point line and averaged only 6.2 points a game.
